Great Dam Vision Promises Utah Basin Prosperity

A long article argues that a colossal Green River dam near Vernal will create a vast impounded lake, power generation, canals across the basin, and widespread farming and industry. It foresees jobs, higher prices for stock and crops, and a transformation of sage brush land into homes and green fields, with navigation on the river and substantial hydroelectric output powering commerce and municipalities. The piece emphasizes the project’s immense benefits, potential water supply for irrigation, and the economic boost to Utah.
