Vernal cleanup drive sparks broad civic effort
The greatest cleanup and paint campaign in Vernal’s history begins Thorntey, run by the Vernal Junior Chamber of Commerce and Jaycee general committee. She was born July 4 1887 in Clarkson Wellington and came to Uintah County as a child. Survived by husband a daughter two brothers two sisters and several nieces and nephews. Burial in Vernal Memorial Cemetery.
