Mina Wells of Palisade died at Vernal after a winter visit with Mr and Mrs Ernest Bristol following a flu illness from which Brights disease developed. She had earlier visited Vernal with Mr and Mrs Bristol and spent the winter with them at the Steinaker draw. Ernest Bristol traveled to Palisade for the funeral services held Wednesday with interment. A large group of friends from Meeker Rifle Grand Junction and other towns attended. Floral tributes were sent to Palisade as tokens of love.
