Kansas Law Enforces Medical Oaths Over Alcohol Articles

The new prohibitory law in Kansas requires physicians to vow not to prescribe alcohol containing articles unless for health and pharmacists to sell only by physician signed prescription. It also bans sale of spirits of camphor cologne and flavoring extracts without a medical prescription. Gen Patrick O Marah is dead in Cleveland. He was a prominent Ohio Democrat and former Quartermaster General under Governor Allen. He led a military career and later served as House door keeper in Washington.
