Passing Events and Oddities From a 1883 Ohio Page
A collage of brief items notes the Northwestern Ohio Medical Association backing a State Board of Medical Examiners, a new Urbana bridge cost of $21,000, women suffrage gains in Kingston and Oregon, playful weather jokes about snow in Mexico, and various local anecdotes from Findlay and surrounding towns including court dispositions, petty crimes, and a canal death case.

Broken Line Between Van Wert and Delphos Repaired
Manager McGowen and night operator Coats of the telephone exchange were at Van Wert Saturday repairing a line. They found a wire broken between Van Wert and Delphos. They began home Sunday but broke down between here and Delphos and arrived late in the evening. The noses on the men looked as if a nor wester had struck.
