Mrs. Sarah R. Taylor widow of Simon Taylor of North Washington street died Saturday evening at her daughter Mrs. William Harpster’s home in Jackson township. She was 82 and survived by son Jesse H. Taylor of Venedocia, four grandchildren seven great grandchildren and sister Mrs. Maria Bonecutter of Pleasantville Ta. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM at the Harpster home.
About 1,850 fishermen and 1,400 horses marooned on Caspian ice floes are expected to reach shore soon. They have food fuel and forage for 40 days, and all are believed safe according to today’s report from Moscow dated January 27.
A garage at Jesse Resor's home on Blaine Street suffered heavy damage to a two car frame and workshop when fire broke out Saturday afternoon. Paul Resor sustained severe burns while moving a car. fire crews arrived at 4 55 p m and controlled the blaze. The cause remains undetermined. A separate call at 145 p m to the Container company factory reported a broken sprinkler water pipe in the coal room with no fire.

He is survived by a sister Mrs. O P Craig of Fort Wayne a brother I N Stahl of Grover Hill a half brother M E Stahl of Jackson Michigan a step brother James Dotson and step father William Dotson. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery after services at Second M E Church.
Columbus registrar Frank West announced that 1936 automobile license tags go on sale March 1. Use of the new plates starts March 10 and all expiring licenses must be replaced by April 1. The law extends 1935 license validity and changes price schedules for certain vehicle types.
