A Terrible Tale of Parricide and Brutal Cruelty in St Louis

From St Louis December 19 a terrible tale emerges as Emile Guenther, 18, killed his father George A Guenther after years of alleged torture. Emile surrendered to police and brother Charles recounted brutal punishments including chaining, beating, and flogging of children, described as a chamber of horrors.
