Democratic Nominating Conventions Planned in Ohio for 1893
The Democracy of the 22nd Ohio Senatorial District comprising Allen Auglaize Defiance Mercer Paulding Van Wert and Williams will meet in convention at Paulding on Wednesday August 15 1893 at 10 o clock a m to nominate two state senators. Delegates are apportioned by votes for William A secretary of state under 1892 rules with one delegate for every hundred votes and one for every fifty votes over cast. Pursey chairs and Gro W Koun is secretary. Separate Van Wert county meeting also urged for September 30 1893 at 10 30 a m in the Van Wert Court House to nominate county officials including representative probate judge treasurer auditor commissioner surveyor coroner and director with representation based on votes for President Grover Cleveland in 1892.
