Columbus Ohio April 14 Chief Justice Carl Weygandt assigned Common Pleas Judges W T Copeland of Auglaize and Emmit A Everett of Allen to sit with H A Miller of Mercer in a murder trial Thursday. The three judge panel will hear Florian Knapke 24 Mercer County farm youth who pleaded guilty to killing his brother Linus 17 during a wagon overload argument. They will decide guilt degree and pass sentence.
The YWCA gym and dancing classes present an exhibition Wednesday at 7 30 in the gymnasium. The public is invited. A new term begins next week with reservations via the YWCA. The show features apparatus work song games tap and social dancing skating stunts limbering relaxing exercises and volleyball.

The Band Mothers Association invites the public to a Gypsy Festival at Lincoln School starting 7:30 tonight. Music dancing games fortune telling and various entertainments will crowd the gypsy themed event with refreshments sold to raise funds for the Van Wert High School Band trip to Washington, D. C. Gilbert Taylor, 86, formerly of Van Wert now of Wiltshire, was convicted by a 12-member jury of carnal knowledge of his 16 year old daughter. Spahr said a motion for new trial will be filed within three days after verdict. Conviction carries life imprisonment with no parole, unless pardoned. Taylor pled guilty to adultery in the same indictment, and is jailed awaiting further action.

Burne, 33, of Rockford, died when a stove exploded while Mrs Luetta Buel poured from a can over a fire. The accident occurred at 2 o clock last night in the kitchen. Survivors include two children Donald Sage four and Rex Touls , husband Rex, her father Milim of Rockford, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held in Rockford.
