Farmers Pool Local Wool Crop in Indiana
Grant County Agricultural Society plans a state pool for this year's wool crop in Indiana. Members will sign blanks stating fleeces to pool and preferred delivery points of Marion June 15 Fairmount June 15 and Upland June 16 17. Delivery costs are estimated at about four and a half cents per pound. Fleeces should be loosely tied with fresh side out using paper twine. Store wool in a clean dry place until sack ready. Each fleece will be sacked tagged and billed separately with sacks and tags provided at delivery.
