Death Comes Sudden for Mrs Rosella Waggaman at Farrville

Mrs Rosella Waggaman wife of J C Waggaman died at her Farrville home Tuesday afternoon from septicaemia after a boil on the forehead. Born March 13 1876 she was 44 years old and leaves six children Dora Marguerite Ross Doyle Ray Otto John Thomas Harry Carmon and Norma Louise. Funeral Friday July 30 at 10 30 am at Van Buren M E Church Rev Campbell to officiate. She also is survived by two brothers and two sisters and was active in the W C T U and Pythian Sisters.

Death of William Groppenbacher of Eagle Dye Works

William Groppenbacher owner of Eagle Dye Works died at Grant County hospital at 1 PM Tuesday after several days of illness. He was 42, lived in Marion, formerly of the community, and leaves a wife. He was well known and regarded as an exemplary gentleman.

Orange Mahoney Dead at Mt Etna After Heart Trouble

Orange L. Mahoney aged 70 years 5 months 8 days died at 3 30 Sunday afternoon in Mt Etna from heart trouble. A longtime sawmill worker and later a farmer he was born in Mt Etna in 1850 to Thomas and Mary J Mahoney. He married Sarah A Ads July 6 1877. Four children were born, one deceased. Surviving are Bertha Cook Marion Anna Whitman Lancaster township and Gladys M Shutt Polk township.

The American Farm Bureau Federation remains opposed to political movements and radical doctrines. Harding may speak in Indianapolis this fall

Indiana Republican leaders said Senator Warren G. Harding may address Indianapolis in October if he abandons his front porch campaign. Secretary Frederick E. Schortemeier said Harding favored speaking in Indianapolis if not in Marion and could visit several large cities. The state Speaker's bureau will open August 10 under Fred Robinson as the campaign expands nationwide.

The board of trustees of the M. E. church met Monday night and reported finances in good shape with church work progressing well under Rev. and Mrs. S. F. Harter. They adopted a resolution pledging renewed support for the pastor and expressing confidence in his ability and integrity to carry the work forward.

Injured in Fall from a Mower

Russell Anderson of Van Buren Township was seriously injured Tuesday when he fell from a mowing machine in the harvest field. He was unconscious, a Van Buren physician treated wounds, and he showed slight improvement the next day. He is a son of Mr and Mrs John Anderson and nephew of Mrs J C Woggaman.
