Civil War veteran Jonathan Wearly died July 8 1919 at Swayzee Indiana after a life lived in Huntington and Grant counties. Funeral services were held July 10 at the Swayzee M E Church with Rev Norman McClain and Rev Lyddle in charge. interment at Thrailkill cemetery. He was born June 26 1846 in Preble County Ohio and leaves a wife Rachel Gardner three children Loretta Butler Perry Wearly and Rev Robert Wearly 13 grandchildren and several siblings.
