Bray Buried in Grant County After Decline from Bright's Disease
A. A Bray born October 8 1851 in Hancock County Indiana died June 29 1916 at his home from Brights disease aged 64 years 8 months 21 days. He married Mary Davis December 24 1871 and had eight children four girls and four boys two died in infancy. Survived by widow six children three brothers four sisters four grandchildren and many friends. He moved to Grant County in 1874 living near Van Buren until death. Funeral at home conducted by Rev J O Campbell with interment in Van Buren Cemetery.

A Lilliputian Wedding Delights Opera House Crowd

Van Buren town and township schools again won honors at the county commencement with Golda Foreman claiming the county grades and a Webster's International Dictionary. M. B. Company to Carry Mail Between Marion Bluffton
G J Sampsell head of the Toledo office of the railway mail service met in Bluffton to arrange mail between Marion and Bluffton. The M B Traction company signed papers to begin after July 31 with two cars daily in each direction. First east bound mail train will be the first traction car in the morning bringing mail from Chicago and Indianapolis.
