Van Buren Township leads in cooperative livestock shipping as Lewis L. Needler is unanimously reelected president of the Grant County Agricultural Association. Officers include Earl Clanin Jay Atkinson Bert Todd and Elmer Creviston. Louise Ackerman is endorsed to continue office as nominating committee recommends. About two hundred farmers attend in Marion High School auditorium for music and a Farm Bureau educational film. The group unanimously changes the association name to Grant County Farm Bureau.
