The Grant County Federation of Farmers Associations met in Marion. E C Masterson and Lewis Taylor spoke. Frank Tippey was reelected president for another year. New officers include Frank E Clanin and Frank Brizendine as vice presidents, L O Chasey as recording secretary, and Elmer Creviston as treasurer. A large nominating committee was named and resolutions pledged farmers to government support and denounced lawlessness.

Van Buren Freshmen Five Lose to Marion Midgets
The Van Buren High School Freshmen Five lost to Marion Midgets 26 to 4 in Marion after a fast-paced game where Van Buren failed to score. Marion led 15 to 2 at halftime. The freshmen next travel to Gas City on January 14 with a hope to host Fairmount Academy in the new gym.

Bantham Singing Evangelist Aids Local Methodist Revival
