R A Ogg Greencastle spoke on Green Manures with lessons from failures including alfalfa trials and soil improvements. Mrs Elizabeth T Stanley urged equal child health care, while officers for the year were elected: President Kenneth Camblin, VP John Bollhoefer, Secy-Treas Austin Ferguson.

Old Officers Reappointed by Van Buren Town Board
At the January meeting the Van Buren town board re elected the old officers for another two years. Henry Spilker remains town marshal and Dicken continues as street commissioner. Town Clerk and Treasurer Milton Camblin’s report will be published next week showing the town in good financial shape. The board plans to extend water mains in the spring and future prospects look bright.
