Roscoe Dye died Sunday August 11 in Kansas City at age 26 after four years of consumption. Born and raised in Unionville, he worked at the Republican office, trained as a telegraph operator, and married Alice Chapman in Shelbing. He died at his wife's parents home and was buried in Unionville cemetery. Immediate relatives mourn his loss.
