Federal funds add to Union Two payroll
Union Township will add four workers under a federal employment program aimed at Butler County. A clerk-typist dispatcher, a police patrolman and two road maintenance workers will join the township staff. Eligibility requires Butler County residency and 30 days of prior unemployment. the program runs through August 1975.

Four retain Fair Board seats in Butler County election
Four Butler County Agricultural Society directors were re elected to three year terms at the fairgrounds. Fred Martin 257 votes Eldon Letsche 264 Ralph Miller 249 and Earl Zellner 262 were re elected. Other candidates trailed with Donald Schwab 63 Dale Beckett 58 David Hazelwood 58 and George Bitner 52.

Bounty Set for Signs In Union Township Area
For the third straight year, Pisgah's Carlos Todd offers a bounty for political signs left in Union Township. Five cents will be paid for each sign found in yards or hanging on poles. Signs must be delivered to Todd service locations Lakota Hills Sunoco in Maud or Pisgah Sunoco on Highway 42.

Lakota High to Host College Night at Lakota Tech
Lakota High School will sponsor a College Night Program at 7 30 to 9 p m Monday at 5050 Tylersville Road. About 55 college technical hospital and university reps will discuss admissions financial aid housing and enrollment. Senior counselor Kathy Klink says students can visit tables for answers and information and parents are invited.

Local man acquitted in Butler County assault trial
In Butler County Common Pleas Court a 26 year old man was found not guilty on two counts of assault. The jury of five men and seven women acquitted Raymond, also known as Hall, after the judge ruled the state failed to present evidence of aggravated assault. The defense was led by James Walsh with assistant Dan Connaughton presenting the state's case.
