Trustees stay opposed to Army Corps flood plain plan
Union Township trustees eyed a revised environmental impact statement on flood plain zoning in Port Union but kept their October stance against the plan. In a two page resolution they urged Corps officials in Louisville to initiate a new study on immediate and long range effects of flood plain zoning.

Elderly Pisgah couple injured in auto wreck
Union Township police investigate a Tuesday morning crash at West Chester Road and Route 42. John Price 83 and Gwen Price 79 were admitted to Christ Hospital in fair condition after their car hit a utility pole and damaged three yards. Lela Stout 63 driving the other car was slightly damaged. Police seek witnesses to clarify how the accident occurred.
