Union trustees seek county road work and new patrolman
Union Township plans to ask Butler County for county work on 17.5 miles of roads in 1973. Trustee Emile Munch says 11.1 miles for blacktopping and 6.4 miles for tar and chip will be submitted, with actual work to be determined by the county. The board also hires Randy Palmieri as a part time patrolman and approves tuition for Harold Scratch to attend Smith-Wesson Academy.

Owner Lari Combs was lightly injured and declined hospital care after the trio became angry around 2:50 a.m. They threw billiard balls, broke a clock and a juke box, ripped cloth from a pool table, looted two pinball machines, and took 80.

Nursing homes sue state for 232000 over emergency generators
