Butler County Vocational Education School plans September opening with 950 certificated staff positions filled. Building near Hamilton on Route 4 in Liberty Township finished. 510 students enrolled in the program. New facilities include middle and elementary schools, bus garage, and maintenance center. Monroe begins Todhunter Bridge replacement project
Preliminary work on the One Road bridge in Monroe starts this week. The bridge will be closed to traffic between Yankee Road intersections and is limited to 12 tons during construction.
