State nepronal contests for Southern Ohio junior and middle school musicians were held at Colerain High School with 59 schools participating. Hopewell and Lakota juniors earned superior and excellent ratings in multiple piano, flute, clarinet, trumpet, and other ensembles under directors William Biven and Denver Noggle.
