The Butler County coroner will decide if the death of Michael A. Perrotti 51 Liberty Township is ruled a traffic fatality. The 38th county traffic death of the year occurred when his car hit a utility pole on Cincinnati Dayton Road during a snowbound night.

Soldier injured in 1 75 hit skip
An 18 year old Middletown serviceman Timothy Bolinger 6501 Germantown Road escaped with minor burns after his car was rear ended on I 75 five tenths of a mile north of Monroe. Bolinger was hospitalized with minor burns and neck injuries and transferred to Wright Patterson Air Force Base hospital. The fleeing driver in a damaged white 1967 Ford with Michigan plates fled the scene and is being sought by the State Highway Patrol.
