Trustees open bids for new Southside Elementary building
The Elementary District Trustees accepted the bid from Bishop, Younger and Bradley for 418175 to construct the Southside Elementary School. Ten bids ranged up to 410108. A new plan to annex street portions and install sewer and water lines is being considered with city approval and Finance Division approval needed. Superintendent Jack Simpson said the project would cost about 15000.

New Building Okayed For Fair Grounds Exhibit Hall
Fair officials approve a 130 by 100 foot shelter building at the 12th District Fair Grounds to replace the tent. State to Abandon Old Section of 101
The state highway department filed a notice of abandonment for the old stretch of Highway 101 replaced in November by the new Ukiah to Willits freeway.
