Profit Share Plan Outlined by Petri for Grape Growers
A group of grape growers in Geyserville heard Louis Petri of California and Italian Swiss Colony explain Allied Grape Growers profit sharing changes. The plan aims to boost grower share of sales profits with 1953 returns averaging $8 a ton above market price. About 650 tons remain to reach the 5,000 ton quota as Allied expands in the north coastal area. Victor Saitone and Harald Brown were named candidate directors to represent parts of Sonoma and Mendocino counties.
