Law offices burglarized second time in Ukiah
Burglars hit the law offices of Mayor Barry Wood and Judge elect Jim Luther and the Press Democrat writer Steve Hart for the second time in two months. A camera and two lenses worth 500 dollars were stolen from the newspaper office at 116 South School Street, and two calculators plus a dictaphone worth 425 dollars were taken from the adjoining law offices. Police say two suspects may be involved. Entry was via an unlocked second floor window then through a transom at the Press Democrat office. the thieves then entered the combined law and newspaper offices.
