Power Pole Falls on Mendosa Car Near Point Cabrito
Mendosa of Mendocino was rushed to Fort Bragg Community Hospital after a power pole toppled across a car near Point Cabritto lighthouse around 2 30 A M. The patrol report was not on file. two people were pinned in the wreck and Mendosa’s injuries are described as severe but not critical.

De Soto Driver Fails to Stop After Boonville Collision
On Boonville road seven miles west of the Redwoods highway a De Soto driven by William J. Hatcher of Boonville sustained minor damage after a curve meeting an unknown car. The other driver fled the scene. Hatcher reported the accident to Patrolman Nunnery.

Air Force Opens New Recruiting Station in Ukiah
