Rabies scare hits Lake County as 13 begin treatment

A rabid feral kitten linked to a skunk bite led to 13 Lake County residents starting Pasteur treatment. Crash injures three in Eastside collision near Highway 20

Three people were injured when a small car and a motorcycle collided on Eastside Road near the Highway 20 off ramp. Cyclist Virgil Quiroga Jr. suffered two fractured wrists a fractured jaw and cuts. Car driver Jennifer Harris and passenger Ramon Oresco sustained arm hand injuries and multiple lacerations.
