Willits rites for Earl Fuller in Willits Tuesday
Funeral services for Earl L. Fuller 62 of Longvale will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Anker Lucier Mortuary Willits with the Rev Victor Koon officiating. Fuller died Friday in a Ukiah hospital after seven years in the area as a heavy equipment operator and member of Operating Engineers Local No. 3. Survivors include his widow Hazel Fuller a stepdaughter Cathy Hemenway a brother Glenn Fuller and one grandchild. Burial will be in Willits Cemetery. In a separate report Vern Baldgridge of South San Francisco reported a burglary at his summer cabin four miles west of Ukiah on Boonville Road a .22 rifle was taken. Cherril Mariel Evans 23 of Fort Bragg was jailed on burglary charges after deputies arrested her Saturday in Fort Bragg.

Car Crash on Lovers Lane Injures Three Ukiah Residents
A weekend accident on Lovers Lane near Ukiah involved a 26 year old driver, Robert Ashurst, and two passengers, Mary Ashurst and Janis Mathis, all from Ukiah. The car, due to a faulty steering mechanism, left the road, hit an embankment, and sustained damage. all three were treated at Ukiah General Hospital for minor injuries.
