The city will begin charging 25 cents for all day parking tomorrow at the Standley and Main street lot. A meter installed today will operate from 6 am, with receipts allowing all day parking and multiple entries. Colored tickets will designate days and be checked by police. Two Wilits men escape plane crash near Willits airport. Ferris Whitney, former mayor, and Harry Saulsberry were slightly injured and treated by a private physician. The plane stalled about 50 feet up, landed in a creek between the runway and Don Coleman’s property, and was cushioned by heavy underbrush.

George W. Tibbetts, 73, of Fort Bragg was found guilty by a four woman eight man jury of two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a Fort Bragg minor girl.
