San Rafael residents die in head-on crash with lumber truck
A late night crash on the Redwood Highway three miles north of Calpella killed Vincent Albert Parks and his wife Lucille, owners of Parks Auto Electric in San Rafael. The couple, aged 56 and 51, died instantly after their Cadillac collided with a loaded lumber truck driven by Rolland Fillmore, 33, of Santa Rosa. Coroner deputies identified the couple via their son Thomas Parks and said the incident occurred at 11 45 p m. two trucks were involved and Fillmore was treated at Ukiah General.
