Dulles cancels plan for nationwide radio address
Washington officials said Secretary of State John Foster Dulles postponed a tentatively scheduled nationwide radio and TV address to report on the London agreement admitting West Germany to NATO. He will delay the broadcast until after a NATO council meeting in Europe later this month. Dulles called theLondon accord's move of West Germany into the Atlantic alliance of tremendous historic importance. The report was to have come from Washington.

Sutterley Ordered to Washington for Navy duty

Final Plans Accepted for County Hospital Bid Date Set
Final working plans for the new county hospital totaling 1 136 514 were approved by the county board of supervisors. Bids will be opened December 6 at 2 p.m. The project includes 83 beds with 42 for tuberculosis and 41 for general care, using Hill Burton funds of 757 676. Construction is slated for a June 1956 completion, with a potential county add on of about 50 000 for facility enlargement.

Turula Shot By Neighbor in Redwood Valley
Joseph Turula, 40, of Redwood Valley, is reported in satisfactory condition at Ukiah General Hospital after being shot by neighbor A. D. Cromwell. Cromwell said Turula attempted to break into his home, and he fired through a kitchen window with a 30-30 rifle after Turula appeared again.

Police arrested four youths at Anacostia High School as about 500 white students dispersed after crowds gathered outside the building. Two Mendocino State Hospital inmates Ernest Rivera and Francisco Monson, both missing since Thursday, are believed to have burglarized the Big Oaks restaurant in Calpella. Cash, jewelry, a pistol, and clothing were stolen between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m. A shirt with Rivera’s name and hospital-issue clothing linked to the suspects were found. both men wore state clothing when last seen. Rivera is 23, 5 ft 6 in, 135 lb. Monson is 45, 5 ft 3 in, 153 lb.

Assault Trial Begins in Blevins Case
An eight man, four woman jury began hearing the trial of Tom Blevins, 30, on kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon and robbery charges. Patrick M. McGuire, 55, a Garberville forestry cook, testified he was abducted from Auburn to Garberville, hit with a wine bottle, restrained for robbery, and injured in self defense when escaping. Sheriff deputies responded. Blevins, a California state prison convict, is defended by Newell Rawles with Merle P. Orchard as deputy district attorney in charge.

London report says Italy and Yugoslavia signed an agreementpartitioning the disputed free territory of Trieste under U.S. and British sponsorship.
