Revenue sharing pie to be sliced June 6

County supervisors will decide how to apportion nearly 5 million in revenue sharing funds. Finance committee recommends cuts to 2.5 million to cover expected nondedicated federal revenue through June 1974. Frontline requests come from county departments districts and private groups.

College classroom bids far exceed district estimates

Mendocino board urged to build rehabilitation center

Resignation confirmed as council rejects offer to rescind

Willits city council declined Tom Calabrese’s memo rescinding his May 17 resignation as city administrator. Mayor Ron Mitchell announced the resignation stands and Calabrese will leave after less than a year, amid a dispute over firing city engineer George Monastery. Pops Concert Rescheduled by Pomolita Junior High

The Choral Club of Pomolita junior high performs a repeat Pops Concert tonight at 8 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 1337 S Dora Street after a power failure halted one act. Soloists Chuck Adams and John Mihalyo remain on stage with dancers Dave Greenslate and John Rhoades, while portions of HMS Pinafore and other numbers are trimmed. No admission charge.
