Covelo FFA Field Day Promises Weekend Rodeo Schedule

Directors approve a top priority project for 1972 73 to install 108 eight by eight foot pens in two animal barns at an estimated 32000 dollars. The plan includes blacktopping and drainage along center aisles and two back grandstand restrooms already funded with slabs poured tomorrow.

Two injured at Squaw Rock parking mishap

Highway Patrol reports two young men injured when their car left the Squaw Rock parking area and plunged down an embankment. Driver George Dale Andrews 19 from San Jose and passenger James Patrick Rose 20 from Sherman Oaks were hospitalized with head, arm, facial and leg injuries.

In Sacramento a key Assembly committee endorsed a modified no-fault auto insurance plan by Assemblyman Jack Fenton on an 11-6 vote. Ukiah Ambulance Collides With Passenger Car at City Intersection

A Code 3 ambulance collided with Georgia Clarke Patrick's car at State and Stephenson Streets in Ukiah near noon. Ambulance driver Guy Wallace Von Brandt said he followed with lights flashing and attempted to pass on the left. Patrick said she turned to avoid the vehicle. Neither driver was injured and Patrick was cited for failure to pull to the right curb.
