Legal Services fills trustee positions
Debbie Hirschman of Redwood Valley a kindergarten teacher in the bilingual bi cultural program at Redwood Valley elementary school and Carmen Christy of Ukiah an Indian rights worker have been named to the board of trustees of the Legal Services Foundation for Mendocino and Lake Counties. The announcement was made by Michael Zola director of Indian Legal Services. Ukiah attorney Jim Luther is the chairman and Ukiah attorney Hal Brunner is the secretary. The balance of the board members include Ukiah attorneys Newell Rawles Pat Finnegan and Robert Fowler the Rev Jim Jones of the People's Temple and Archie Sjames Ukiah businessman.
