UPI reports Rev. David Bauer, former Canadian Olympic coach, selects Russia as his favorite for the 1966 world ice hockey championship after opening games in Ljubljana. Stanford Coaching Changes Revealed

Ed Peasley from the University of Washington is named freshman and assistant varsity coach at Stanford University. Dick Vermeil moves to varsity as fresh coach and Mike White becomes offense coach in a varsity realignment.
