Lumber Unloaded on Redwood Highway Near Willits

Charles Clifton of Weott in Humboldt County received a ticket from Patrolman Roy Burton after his Peterbilt cab and double trailer spilled a load of lumber 71 miles south of Willits. Clifton failed to negotiate a sharp right curve and lost both loads. A Brazilian air force rescue plane sighted a 40 foot power boat carrying Robert P. Terrill U S Embassy economic counselor and three others reported missing since last Thursday. The crew appeared safe and well. Coast Guard planes and surface craft resumed search for a fishing boat missing off Bodega Bay with three men and a woman aboard.
