Comptche Community Notes and Gatherings Highlight Memorial Weekend
The county marked road safety with white lines on the Comptche Mendocino road. Residents admired Supervisor Scaramella for advocating its need. Memorial weekend visitors from Fresno, Reno, Petaluma, and Fort Bragg joined locals for graduations, family visits, and a large Albion Little River Fire Department barbecue. Neighbors hosted chivarees, Rainbow Girls installations, and social gatherings with music and shared meals.
