About 1500 workers at five western Oregon plywood plants walked out at midnight to press for a 12 to 14 cent hourly pay rise and benefits as negotiations stall between AFL and CIO unions and eight northwest employer groups. Funeral services for Anselmo Flores of Redwood avenue Ukiah are pending at Eversole Mortuary awaiting the arrival of sons in the service. He died Friday June 4 at Cascade Sanitorium at age 55 a native of Chiahahua Mexico. Surviving include wife Josephine and 10 children with several serving in the U. S. Navy Army and in California. One son Anselmo Flores Jr a Korean War veteran was killed in a July 1952 Georgia auto accident.
