Auction Yards Hay Fire Destroys Fifty Tons
Fifty tons of hay burned at Ukiah Auction yards on North Highway when a cigarette started the three alarm fire reported about 5 40 p m. The hay stood 30 feet from the main barn and a nearby fence was destroyed. Four Ukiah fire units battled the blaze. Earlier they fought two grass fires at the city dump and the Charles Crawford Property with no damage reported.

Board Names 3 Judges for 12th District Fair
The fair board approved three judges for the 12th District Fair at its regular meeting. L. A.
