Final Flight For Helicopter Crew Killed In North Korea
CDRs loaded on a C130 for a long trip home from Kimpo International Airport. The three Americans, killed after their CH47 helicopter was shot down near the DMZ, were honored at a 15 minute memorial service in Seoul with a 21 gun salute. One survivor, CWO Glenn Schwanke, was in good condition at a Seoul hospital.

Coast Guard Rescues Two Vessel Crews After Sinking Incidents
Drifting fishermen Don Foxx and Don Casillus were rescued by the Pt Heyer after their Novo based Odyssey sank near Goat Island following a rock collision. Willits Youth Dies In Head On Crash
A 17 year old Willits boy died Sunday in a head on collision on a left hand drive logging road north of Fort Bragg. He rode a motorcycle with an unidentified rider traveling southbound at about 55 mph when they entered a curve and struck a vehicle. The victim’s name awaits next of kin notification.
