Heart attack fatal to John Wagner
John Wagner 64 a Ukiah contractor died at his Helen Avenue home shortly after 8 AM apparently of a heart attack. He was rushed to Ukiah General Hospital but died on arrival. A Saskatchewan native, he lived in the area 30 years and built many local structures. He helped with the Main and Perkins library project and a Harwood Enterprises building in Branscomb. He was active in Ukiah Faith Lutheran Church and preached at Hoberg's Lake County. Survived by wife Esther a daughter and a son Peter Wagner.
