Former Ukiah Resident Dies in Sebastopol
Douglas L. Bingham 59 of Soledad California died Christmas Day visiting his daughter Myrna Rose in Sebastopol. He worked at the State Correctional Facility Soledad and was a native of Oregon. Survivors include his widow Lucille J. Bingham two daughters Myrna Rose Sebastopol and Judy Campbell Sacramento his mother Marsha Bell Bingham Napier and several grandchildren. Services set for 11 a.m. Monday at O Leary Funeral Home Sebastopol with burial at St Helena Cemetery.

Rodney Anthony Wright, 19, of Ukiah, was arrested at 5 a.m. near Bricarelli and Elm by Officer Ron Reynolds on auto theft, drunken driving, and speeding charges. The stolen car was reported as a repossession from B M Motors at 9 a.m. Donna M. Hoaglen, 21, Willits, said someone entered her home through an unlocked window and took three Christmas presents and a Polaroid camera worth $114.

Willits Man Arrested on Burglary Warrants

Juvenile asisted with shotgun incident at feed store fire site
Officer Donald Woskow booked a 14 year old boy for juvenile detention after the youth, found firing a .410 shotgun at tin cans during Christmas morning near Mercer's feed store fire site, was later returned to his parents. A radio was reported stolen from Harvey's Cafe in Calpella. Entry was gained by a glass pane in the front car.
