Ukiah Bride Marries Elbert Johnson at Nazarene Church
Maurinea Darlene Kirk, 1962 Ukiah High School graduate, married Elbert Todd Johnson of Glendale on November 27 at Glendale Church of the Nazarene. They honeymooned in Northern California, then visited Ukiah before settling in Montrose near Johnson’s jet propulsion lab work in Pasadena. Attendants included Charmaine Kirk, Mrs Richard Kirk, and Richard Kirk. The Rev Ira L. True Jr. officiated. The couple met at Nazarene church. she is the daughter of Giles Harley Kirk and Mrs. Kirk, of 218 Laws Ave. Bride wore white empire crepe gown with lace, train. he earned USC master’s degree. she trained as nurse in Pasadena.
