Three Girl Scouts and three Boy Scouts judged the Daily Journal Home Decoration Contest touring Ukiah on Tuesday night. First prize 25 dollars awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis for a Santa Claus and Nativity display. Second prize 15 dollars went to Mr. and Mrs. Clifton L. Brown for a Santa at the North Pole scene. Third prize awarded to AG Tos piden Migesta nte Toye dad for rooftop Santa and reindeer display.

Dry Creek Dam Project Authorized
The U S Army Engineers recommend building a 277 000 acre foot dam called Warm Springs Dam and Lake Sonoma in Sonoma County for flood control water supply and recreation.
