Warrants Dismissed in Anderson Valley Case

Judge Leroy Wehr dismissed the last of the warrants tied to the so called Battle of the Warrants. He excused charges against Senator-elect Frank Petersen and Deputy District Attorney Dale Underwood and dropped six felony counts against Captain Gino Stefani for releasing six juveniles. Wehr cited discretionary powers in juvenile matters and lack of evidence to show intent to deceive.

No Type 3 Vaccine To Be Given Sunday

The Mendocino-Lake Medical Society announced this week that the Type 3 polio vaccine will not be given Sunday, Dec. 9, as previously planned. No date has been set at this time to administer the Type 3 vaccine, spokesmen for the Society indicated.
