Ukiah boy nabbed after midnight Kmart burglary
A 13 year old Ukiah youth smashed a rear Kmart window at Pear Tree Shopping Center took a pellet gun skateboard three walkie talkies and a crowbar before alarm alerted police. Officer Mark Bollman nabbed him as he fled toward a bike. He is also tied to a prior Coors Distributors burglary. After booking he was released to his parents.

Reservoir Manager Jim Welcher says low lake levels expose obstructions and mudflats creating hazards for swimmers and water skiers.
