Charger Fail Causes TV Blackout Across Stations
Late Tuesday a 100 amp battery charger on Mt. San Hedron failed, draining batteries and blacking out TV screens. TelePrompTer manager Jim Langton said all stations except Channel 9 should be back tonight, with a one hour blackout tomorrow morning for charger replacement. Channels 11 and 36 were unaffected as they are not relayed via Mt. San Hedron.
