Steam threshing bee recalls old farm era at Humann Ranch
The 7th biennial South Shasta Steam Threshing Bee opens Sept 4–5 at the G A Humann Ranch two miles south of Gerber. Demonstrations include threshing with steam engines, a 2 ft gauge steam train, and a parade of vintage traction engines and equipment. Master of ceremonies is E. V. Wing of Red Bluff. Visitors may bring old tractors and machinery to show.
