Body of Willits woman found after traffic crash
The body of Betty Stewart and her wrecked car were found Monday at 3 p.m. by Willits Sgt. Clarence Gray. Stewart, 29, was reported missing Aug. 9 after failing to return from the Ponderosa Club Calpella. The car left Highway 101 north of Reeves Canyon Road, rolled down a 50 foot embankment, and was hidden by bushes. The coroner is investigating the death.
